Emergency Relief in DR Congo
in partnership with Aflame , we carried out an emergency relief mission in Goma and Bukavu, DR Congo, in partnership with Aflame, providing essential support to vulnerable families affected by crisis. Our intervention included the distribution of hygienic materials to promote health and dignity, mattresses to improve living conditions, and food supplies to address immediate hunger. Through this effort, we aimed to bring hope, restore dignity, and stand in solidarity with communities during a time of great need

In 2024, BASO continues its commitment to enhancing agricultural resilience, improving livelihoods, and driving sustainable development through strategic collaborations with key partners, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Mastercard Foundation, AGRA. These partnerships have enabled the implementation of various initiatives aimed at empowering smallholder farmers, strengthening food security, and promoting climate-smart agricultural practices in different regions.
Through these ongoing projects, BASO focuses on innovative irrigation techniques, improved seed systems, market access facilitation, and capacity-building programs to equip farmers with the necessary skills and resources to adapt to climate change and enhance productivity. The support from our donors has played a crucial role in scaling up interventions that address poverty, malnutrition, and economic inclusion, ensuring long-term sustainability and impact.
